Life at JLU...

An Experience Worth Sharing.

I remember myself, what I was when I took my first steps into Jagran Lakecity University (JLU) and today when I see myself, I see a very big difference. Coming to Jagran was really a turning point for me as I was all planned to go for a Masters in Interior Design but because of some second thoughts, I thought to visit Jagran once before I go.

I must say that JLU has totally changed the way I think, analyze, understand, determine and decide. It has made me so much practical in terms of analysis, strategic thinking, discussions, and critical decision making and arriving at a suitable conclusion.

The Journey Begins

The beginning is the most important part of any journey. Choose a path which fascinates you the most.

If you know about your interests and strengths. That’s great!

And, if you are not sure what to do, no worries! You will soon get to know as life bring opportunities to all those who believe in “Love what you do” or “Do what you love”

In my initial days, I played Guitar and Sung at my own Freshers Party and because of my performance, I was awarded as Mr. Freshers of the eve.

Then I played at Teachers’ Day and people once again were delighted and amazed by my performance. It did not took me much time to make a brand out of myself at JLU. 

Then we had a Marketing Club event, we as a group had made a product to advertise and a jingle was also in the criteria. So, my friends told me to play a song related to our product. So we kind of made a jingle and I played it there. The eyes of students were filled with glittering sparkle and the faculties were happy to see me succeed.

Similarly, I participated in most of the events, even organized some and showed that everyone has a unique set of talents. Just you have to give them a chance to prove it.

Bring Out The Best

When you are in a competitive environment, it’s very necessary to know that whether you are competitive enough or not to give others a competition.

In order to become competent, you should find out what is the best you can do, what you are good at and what excites you the most. The moment you figure out all these things, start working on the way to get it. Find out your strengths and weaknesses and start working upon that because this world full of cut-throat competition, there is no-one for you out there who you could think to rely upon. But there are people who are ready to walk over and remove you like a small obstacle in the way.
